JACK HAMILTON #14
Senior Shooting Guard - St. Stephen's & St. Agnes

Coach Comments
“Jack  is a legitimate college prospect and the hardest worker I have ever coached.  He can really score the ball.  He was the leading 3-point shooter and free-throw shooter. You really need to take a look at this kid.  He’s one of the top players in the area.”

-- Coach Kevin McLinton, St. Stephen’s

“What’s not to love about this kid?  He eats, drinks and breathes basketball.  He’s a leader by example, a fierce competitor and a scoring machine from virtually anywhere on the court.”

-- Coach Tim Mulcahy, AAU

2007 – 2008  St. Stephen’s, sophomore

As a sophomore, Jack was selected captain.  It was the first time that a sophomore captained a varsity sport at St. Stephen’s.  Jack started at shooting guard leading the team in 3-pointers and averaging 11 points-per game.  In the Christmas tournament against H.D. Woodson, he poured in 31 points.  Against rival Bishop Ireton, Jack led the team with 23 points,  scoring the last seven to seal the win.

2006 – 2007 St. Stephen’s, freshman

Jack was the only freshman in recent history to begin the season on varsity. The Saints won the Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC).  In the Virginia Independent School state tournament, St. Stephen's lost by one in the semifinals to Bishop O’Connell.

Jack Hamilton of St. Stephen's Turning Heads

A few D1 coaches have taken notice of the 6'4" shooting guard from NOVA.  He really impressed at the recent VCU camp.  Look for him to generate some big numbers this season.
